 "I'll find you in the ashes that remain..."

I have not dieded, instead I am slowly being worked to death at the lovely institution known as college.  They say it is a place to experience the real world without actually living in the real world, but I say who the crap made that up?   Because I believe that they should be shot or, better yet, forced to go through college! 

"Can you help me find a way..."

No, it's not really that bad.  It just keeps me busy... very busy (sounds like, Bond, James Bond - ha I crack myself up)!  I'm in this class that has to manage the Hodson Gallery here at Hood and that is a full time job -- thank goodness for fellow students!  I'm also taking this Design course and apparently the teacher didn't get the memo that only a few students can actually draw (the rest of us have to pretend).  Some of the students crack me up though... so it's all good in the end.  I'm also taking German 101 -- that's a different story!  I was doing great until verbs and conjugations were introduced, now it's taking me a lot of time, but I'm finally beginning to catch on again (we'll see how long that lasts)!  I also have two art history courses (imagine that) and I love those, but with all these other classes I don't have the amount of time I want to pour into those!  Stupid other classes!!!  I guess in the end I'll be able to manage a Gallery with pretend art and German clients who are really bad at grammar... always good to look on the bright side!  

"So let me get this straight..."

Last Saturday Nutria, my Baby, my Prince, and I went to Washington D.C. and saw art and pretend art (I should have taken notes) at the National Gallery and the Hirshorn.  We also, as is tradition, got all mad at the Metro and got semi-lost, but with everyones excellent directional skills (and many maps and policemen) we eventually found our way to wherever we were going (that probably would have been a good start)!  Lesson for the day, before you get on the Metro, figure out where you are going!

So... that is my life in a nutshell (whatever that means)!  Oh, and I ran over a once furry creature on Saturday and this Saturday I get to go see the Pandas of D.C. -- my accomplices in evil doings (Muahahhaahaa)!!! Ooookay, everyone have an awesome week and I'll update next lifetime (I mean week ;^) Leslie!)
