This summer has been going by incredibly fast!  It needs to slow down... NOW!  Two weeks ago Nutria and I went to Towson to house sit for my aunt.  While we were there we were able to catch up with an old friend (no, she's not old, just our friendship).  We ate at Cafe Zen twice (oh man... goodtimes there!) and shopped at Trader Joe's where we bought enough food to feed 3,000 hamsters and their gator friends.  I also watched a lot of television, mostly Hogan Knows Best (I'm pretty addicted -- I know)!

Before we left for Baltimore I registered at Hood.  So it's pretty official that I'm going there in the fall.  Because I set myself up (in a good way) at FCC I only have to take about 15 credits each semester and they can all be art classes (except for a language class -- which I need four semesters of... CRAP).  I'll be taking German for awhile and soon I'll be be able to speak the most romantic language ever -- HA! 

"Still can't find what keeps me here..."

Skipping along (lalalala)... Yesterday, my family and I got back from Cary, North Carolina.  It's a city west(?) of Raleigh (the state capitol).  It was fun!  I even got to pretend to play tennis again!!!  Except while I was playing with Scott (for only like two seconds) he totally whacked the ball (like a baseball player) when I wasn't ready and he hit me right on the left side of my head on the temple. Oh man, that hurt like %#!!  I had the worst headache EVER!  But by the nest day I was surviving and thank goodness there is no tennis ball sized bruise or lump on the side of my head.  I was worried that the stupid little letters on the tennis ball were going to be imbedded in my face, but my branding worries were for naught.  So that was my vacation (there was more, but I'm too lazy to type it all)!
